6. Cameron Diaz on the cover of Seventeen in 1990. OK, so you probably already knew about this one, but what list of models-turned-actors would be complete without Cameron Diaz?
7. Chace Crawford posed for a few shirtless shots between high school and college, but his modeling career never really took off. I blame the highlights.
8. Channing Tatum looking all kinds of hot in an ad for Nautica. He was a stripper, who became a model, who became an actor who played a stripper. So meta.
9. Eddie Redmayne posing with another model in a 2004 knitwear pattern book. No wonder they made him the face of Burberry. Grrrrr!
10. Pre-Slumdog Millionaire Freida Pinto in an Indian ad for De Beers. She’s really too beautiful to be a model. With a face like that, ain’t nobody looking at those diamonds.
11. Hayden Panettiere doing a little child modeling back in the day. The strings holding up her skirt really help sell the idea that she’s sliding across the floor at lightning speed. Talk about photo magic!

16. Josh Duhamel won some big modeling competition back in 1997. Of his competition he said, “The guy, I forget his name, from Iowa, was exceptional.”
