[Armani]
Quvenzhané Wallis has another impressive accolade to add to her Wikipedia page: she is the new face of Armani Junior. We imagine there were plenty of fist pumps in the Wallis house.
The 10-year-old actress was the youngest best actress nominee in Oscar history thanks to her role in Beasts of the Southern Wild. She's breaking records again as according to The Hollywood Reporter she is also the very first major child star to be the face of any luxury brand.
At the Oscars Quvenzhané paired her Giorgio Armani navy gown with a Poochie & Co's Yorkie dog-bag, so it's appropriate that a puppy stars in her first campaign. In the portrait photographed by Stefano Azario the actress stands in front of a canvas in a tuxedo with a puppy draped over her shoulder.

Quvenzhané said about the campaign: "I felt the same excitement when I got cast for a major film. Me? Wow! I was honored to wear his custom gown to the Oscars. It made me feel like a princess." She added: "When I saw Mr. Armani's Privé show in New York, the dresses were so pretty...I had too many favorites! Afterwards when I met him, I realized Mr. Armani is such a nice man. I liked that he was so thoughtful."
It looks like the Annie star has her very own real life Daddy Warbucks - as Mr Armani is a big fan. "Quvenzhané is so talented despite her young age. She is a child who has the natural ability to play many different roles," commented Mr Armani. "Her kindness, curiosity and openness towards others really struck me, as they are all traits that I admire. It is for this very reason that I wanted her to be a the face of Armani Junior. With her insatiable energy, Quvenzhané made the clothing come alive, interpreting it in her own singular way."
Like a true campaign star Quvenzhané is already thinking of the street cred her new wardrobe will get her. The actress commented: "It's fun now to wear Armani Junior since I really like the clothing. It's young. It's cool. My friends are going to want to borrow all my clothes now, for sure."
